ParkZone’s P-47 Thunderbolt, "Snortin' Bull” is based on the personally marked Thunderbolt flown by Captain James A
Mullins of the USAAF 404th FG, 507th FS, from RAF Winkton, near Christchurch, Dorset, England, 1944.
Constructed from ParkZone’s unique and highly durable Zfoam this striking model features more than enough scale detail to satisfy the most ardent warbird fan.
Features such as a dummy radial engine, .50 calibre machine gun barrels, detailed cockpit area, moulded panel lines and
hatches complete with a scale WW2 colour scheme and "Snortin' Bull” decals. The fuselage is unique in the fact that
any build-up of hot air from the motor/speed controller can escape through the scale turbocharger and intercooler doors.
Out of the box the P-47 comes with a fixed landing gear and a steerable tail wheel, however the wings come ready to
accept E-flites .15 size electric retracts and these coupled with the option of fully functioning flaps give the pilot a
superb warbird experience that’s more normally associated with larger models.
In the air the model looks and flies with a real presence whilst performing all of the typical warbird manoeuvres with
ease and thanks to the overall lightness of the model landing approaches and landings are relatively stress free making the
Thunderbolt the perfect choice for your next electric warbird model!
